AIRPLAY!! We are getting our first European airplay via RADIOGIRL on Dollard Radio - Oldambt, The Netherlands! Host/Producer/Engineer: Johanna J. Bodde
Available via live-stream at www.dollardradio.nl - Saturdays 9AM-11AM EST. We are also getting international airplay from our friends in British Columbia with "Spaceship Over Tulsa" and "Picture" being added to the playlist at 92.5FM, Shaw Cable 106.1, and live at www.TheX.ca in Kamloops, BC, Canada...also locally we were the "Album of the Week" on WMNF and Music Tampa Bay!

My new record "Last Day On Planet Earth" is finally done and has now been released on Sunshine Drenchy Records, home of The Ditchflowers, Steve Robinson and Steve Connelly, among other notorious Florida pop-meisters...The record looks pretty cool (if I say so myself) and sounds great and my friends at QCA in my hometown of Cincinnati did a great job. My last record "Monkeyshine" is still available on iTunes and CD Baby. You are listening (hopefully) to a cut from that album, "Insignificant" which was featured on ABC's All My Children for most of 2009...I swear this has nothing to do with the show's cancellation!

My song "Drive On" was selected to be included on the newest BAAMO (Bay Area Arts and Music Organization) compilation CD, "Tales of Highways and Low Roads" available at Baamo.org. This is funny because it was actually recorded in 1991! Old school and still pretty ass kicking...

My original band The Moonsnakes is off and running (again), and all my other projects are staying busy as little beavers as well...look for  Dick and Feef, Respectables and Little Kings gigs coming soon!

So please stay tuned...I promise to try and keep things interesting!

The Moonsnakes have "popped" into the famous lair that is Zen Recording to record an EP before our drummer and good friend Rick Boucher relocates with his lovely family to Masssachusetts. Inspired by Rick's suggestion to cover the old Deloris Telescope nugget "Long Sleeve Shirts In The Summertime,"...this EP is a sort of tribute and reworking of some old DT classics including "Long Sleeve..", " It's True", "Two Birds," and a new song "I Like You Cuz You Look Like Me" which was a title Kacy Ross and I used to joke about  writing, and well- i did it. Bandmates Jim Brown , Steve Connelly and I will finish up the project soon- we wanted to be sure and get Rick in on a bit of recorded legacy, as he's been a big part of this band over the last 2 years. We wish him the best of luck and much happiness in his new digs!

"Picture" in running for #1 song of the year!

The final tally is in and the Moonsnakes track "Picture" from Last Day On Planet Earth is officially the #6 song in the Top 10 Songs of the Year on Music Tampa Bay. (It should be playing now!) Another LDOPE track, "Light Up", is also in the top 100. Thanks to everyone who voted for us, and to MTB for it's all encompassing format and support of local original music! http://www.musictampabay.com/

Ginger Warder, my dear friend and partner in crime since the last century- ha ha- has written a great book- (and a perfect stocking stuffer:), for all of you dog lovers like me. It's called 'Fido's Florida' and is an awesome doggy friendly guide for the state of Florida. I also took some of the photos in the book, including the back cover shot of Ginger and her dog Tipsy.
